This past weekend, Trabajadores Unidos successfully held the 10-Hour OSHA Training Workshop, an essential tool to empower workers in matters of occupational safety.

This training program, backed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), is designed to provide participants with the knowledge needed to identify and prevent common workplace hazards, understand their rights and their employer’s responsibilities, and learn how to report unsafe conditions.
Throughout the intensive sessions, participants learned about different types of workplace hazards, the importance of a safe working environment, and how to report dangerous conditions or safety violations effectively. At the end of the workshop, attendees began the process to receive their official 10-hour OSHA card, a certification that can open new opportunities in construction, cleaning, and other labor sectors.
At Trabajadores Unidos, we firmly believe that knowledge is a powerful tool for protecting labor rights. That’s why we continue to promote trainings like this one, so that more immigrant workers can be informed, safe, and prepared to defend their well-being in the workplace.
Thank you to everyone who participated and committed to their safety and personal growth!
