The Department of Homeland Security has announced the extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for citizens of Venezuela, Sudan, and Ukraine for 18 months, from April 2025 to October 2026.
What does this mean?
Eligible citizens from these countries will be able to maintain their TPS and employment authorization.
A Federal Register Notice will be published soon with key information on eligibility, deadlines, and how to re-register.
Remember: Re-registration is limited to those who previously registered and were granted TPS.
