This Friday, September 6th starting at 11am, Trabajadores Unidos is offering a civic workshop for anyone interested in learning about the importance of DC residents' vote in local elections.
For the first time, immigrant DC residents will be able to vote in local elections! To support this important step, Trabajadores Unidos has launched the “Voting Rights for All in DC” campaign, with the goal of registering 1,000 residents to vote. We need more committed people to join this cause, learn about the importance of voting and how to register online, so this event is open to anyone interested in learning about local voting in DC and volunteering at our upcoming civic events.
