We began with our English class and a screening of "Inmigrante," part of the organization's film series for leaders. We also welcomed new members and offered employment counseling, guidance on the DC ID, licenses, and other essential procedures.

In addition, we held a workshop on Health Insurance for Washington, DC residents and closed the week with a visit to students from American University, fostering empathy and understanding among different sectors of society. We also held a "Know Your Rights" workshop, featuring students and professors from Georgetown University, who shared key information on how to handle a potential encounter with immigration authorities.

We wish you a happy weekend!
